Our Marwell Zoo Trip 2008

First, we went for a talk on animal habitats. It was useful to see the animal skins, but sad to hear about people hunting animals just for their fur!

The lady brought out a large stick insect to show us. Do you remember how it felt?

This wallaby has a young joey in her pouch. Did you see it?

Can you spot the large snake? It is quite well camouflaged.

The rain didn't put us off eating our lunch outside!

The penguins were a real favourite. Each one had a coloured band so that they could be identified.
